Salted Caramel Buttercream is the perfect accompaniment to any chocolate cake, but especially to our vanilla-coffee flavored cake, making it our yummy Salted Caramel Latte Cake. So so good. Let’s make buttercream together...
We’ll start with 2 cups of butter at room temperature in a mixer bowl.
Beat the butter with a paddle Attachment on medium high speed for five minutes or until the butter is fluffy
Mix in 8 cups of powdered sugar and 3 Tbsp heavy cream (you can alternate— 2 cups powdered sugar, then 1 tbsp heavy cream...)
Lastly we’ll mix in 1/2 a cup of cooled salted caramel (homemade or store bought) and 1 tsp of sea salt.
Yummmmmm. So smooth and creaaammmyyyy.
