My mouth is watering. This is mine and Jeremy's favorite homemade pizza. Jeremy and I made Cast Iron pizza on our honeymoon and loved it. So we’ve experimented over and over and we’ve finally reached this pizza. It's authentic Italian style. It's not truly authentic of course, I don't have a wood burning pizza oven or Italian water in my dough, but it's a rather close alternative. The crust isn't thin or thick but perfectly crispy and chewy. YUM Let's make pizza together...
I’ve always loved chicken pot pie. I thought Costco’s was my favorite. Until I lived with my sister in Utah for wife training (jk. Kind of) and she made HER chicken pot pie. It was soooo good. For our wedding she gave me a recipe box with a bunch of her recipes in it and this was included. But one time I was making it and I didn’t have any potatoes... but I did have frozen seasoned French fries lol. So I cut them up and put them it. And now It’s our new favorite. Like really. Jeremy asked me to make chicken pot pie and I told him I already had potatoes, but he went to the store anyway specifically to get French fries. So, let’s make chicken pot pie.
My nanny family had some soup similar to this in their fridge and when I tried it I wanted that bowl to be endless. So, Literally that week I went to the store and got stuff to try and make a similar soup to share with ya'll. It's creamy, it's flavorful, it's got bursts of sweet freshness from the corn, and a bit of spice from the peppers. Overall, it's a million percent my recommendation for this current cold and rainy weather. So, let's make soup together.
Jeremy and I get so excited when the weather gets cooler and we can make this chili. Every time we’ve made this, we make it together. It’s so fun. And so YUM. He was so sad that this time I had to make it without him... but he still got to eat it with me, so that’s the important part. Lol. Let’s make Dead Guy chili together...
Fall is for comfort food. This is that. If you don’t like Mac and cheese, I don’t know how to help you. It’s so creamy and warm. And we loaded ours with crispy bacon, Ritz crumbs and fresh pepper slices (thanks Ms. Millie). I wanna make it again rn looking at all these photos. Yum. Let’s make Mac and cheese together...
I made this ravioli and my sweet friend Rebecca from Happily the Hicks made a Creamy Sage and Parmesan Sauce... we ate it for lunch and were amazed at how perfectly they paired (and how perfectly fall it was). So I highly encourage you to make this ravioli + her sauce. Let's make ravioli together...
My dad makes ribs-- they taste good. Let's make ribs together...
My sister Sarah totally gave me this recipe. So, thank her. I think all of the real food I make comes from her. She’s the best. This recipe can be made with pork or chicken, I honestly love both. They're juicy and slightly spicy with some honey to balance them out. If you do not have an instant pot you can make them in the slow cooker but it will take 19x longer. But that's okay, just plan ahead. Let's make carnitas together.
Extremely easy to make. Just dump, mix, roll. You could obviously make them larger than I do, but I think this size works well for meatball subs or spaghetti and meatballs. Plus if they're smaller they'll cook faster. Come on, let's make meatballs together.
Sausage, ground beef, salt and pepper, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, parsley, basil and oregano.
This is my mother’s lasagana. Well, pretty much. The only things I did differently than my mum does— I added sausage and I used homemade ricotta, mozzarella, sauce and noodles. My mum doesn’t use fresh mozzarella at all actually... so if you’d rather not then you definitely don’t have to, it will still be very yum. But the homemade mozzarella and ricotta make it much creamier. But besides all that it’s basically my mum’s recipe. My mother has made this for as long as I can remember and she’s honestly ruined me for all others. Like I don’t even like getting lasagna at restaurants because hers is better. Maybe it’s all speculation. Maybe. But maybe hers really is that good. Maybe you should make it and find out. Let’s make lasagna together.
