Orange creamsIcle smoothie

for Christmas I got a cute lil ninja blender with the personal sized blender cups. So obviously I’ve been making smoothies like crazy. This one came about because my sister, Mary loves all things orange creamsicle. But I wanted it to have nutrients too... and not just be yogurt and orange juice. Sooo let’s make a smoothie together.

Here’s what I’ve got: 1 orange frozen, 2 carrots cut and frozen, zest from 1 orange, Juice from 1 orange and 1/3 cup vanilla yogurt. If you don’t have vanilla yogurt, then add a splash of vanilla extract.

Blend it all together and pour it over some yogurt.

Here are some optional things you could do:
-for a thicker smoothie you could add a frozen banana or frozen mangos, but they may change the flavor slightly
-if you don’t have oranges or carrots frozen just add ice
-you also could freeze your yogurt beforehand for a creamier texture
